Job Description:
The Customer Sales Specialist at Arrow is responsible for managing day-to-day sales activities, providing sales support, and executing customer service tasks for specified customers and assigned accounts. This role serves as a liaison between the company’s internal resources, suppliers, and customers, ensuring efficiency in corporate operational processes and procedures. The specialist is expected to perform the following key responsibilities:
What You'll Be Doing:
Oversee daily sales activities and support for specified customers and accounts.Research and respond to customer inquiries promptly.Maintain and enhance corporate operational processes and procedures to ensure efficiency.Attend and participate in customer shortage calls, set internal action plans, and communicate them to appropriate account team members.Process quotes and prepare orders for specified customers.Collaborate with centralized PMs for quote and debit information.Negotiate pricing with management, provide quote mark-up, and notify customers of related price increases.Ensure that the company is awarded full margin from suppliers for fieldwork done.Have knowledge of and accountability for supply chain engagements such as e-Compass (My Arrow), Consignments, CARES (Customer Automated Replenishment System).Coordinate resources and process customer quotations through Quote Center, Quote Cover Sheet, PM Views, Management, FSR, Suppliers, Value Add, and SSG.Collaborate with appropriate supplier contacts, reseller contacts, and internal departments to solve pre-sales and post-sales problems.Manage the execution of demand creation activities, contracts, value-added programs, returns, invoicing, credit, shipping issues, etc.Provide proactive notifications to customers about changes in delivery status and manage bond reviews with customers (Shortages & Turns).Oversee SMI (Slow Moving Inventory) and NCNR (Non-Cancellable, Non-Returnable) customer conversations.What Are We Looking For:
Entry Level ProfessionalMinimum requirement 4-years degree with 2+ years ‘experience Proficient in Excel Superior adaptability, resourcefulness, and problem-solving abilities. Proven effective verbal and written communication skills. Proven track record of a strong work ethic Time Management, organization, and customer service skills are essential for this role. Must be able to prioritize, multitask, and deal with pressure.Work Arrangement:
Fully Remote: Must be able to travel to an Arrow office location as requested by Arrow leadership.Hiring Range:
$63,000-$78,000
Actual compensation offer to candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level. The pay ratio between base pay and target incentive (if applicable) will be finalized at offer
