Job Summary:
The Customer Support Administrator is responsible for supporting sales success by performing operational and administrative activities for assigned Inside Sales Managers and customers. This includes either pre-award or post-award activities. The Customer Support Administrator acts as a customer liaison regarding quotes, purchases, order status, data entry and maintaining files.
Essential Functions:
Provide follow up and support to the Inside Sales Managers Prepare quotations for assigned customers Review, interpret, and enter data into internal databases, ERP or CRM tools Issue credit memos and return material authorizations Provide order status to customers Ensure export license compliance Log sales information with few errors Escalate issues as needed Improve the sales process Any other task assigned by supervisor or managementNon-Essential Functions:
Provide order acknowledgements to customers Manage internal reviews of Specifications, Terms and Conditions, QAPs and FARs Provide reports and metrics as requiredMinimum Qualifications:
Experience: 1+ years of inside sales administration experience in a manufacturing environment Knowledge: Knowledge of ERP systems (Epicor Vantage); Knowledge of MS Dynamics or similar CRM; Strong understanding of sales process and operations Skills/Abilities: Ability to follow department processes and work flow; Ability to work collaboratively with employees within department and across functions; Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot customer issues; Demonstrated ability to convey information and analysis clearly as needed to customers; Demonstrated outstanding organizational skills; Demonstrated ability to solve routine to moderately complex problems; Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills (Word and Excel); Customer friendly and responsive with a view to providing customer satisfaction; Strong communication skills including phone and email Education/Certification: Associate’s degree Eligibility Requirement: Applicants selected could be subject to a government security investigation and must meet the eligibility requirements for access to classified informationPreferred Qualifications:
