Customer Support Engineer - HPLC

You will be responsible for supporting our clients with on-site installation, implementation, maintenance and delivery of customer training on our chromatography solutions (LC, LC/MS, GC, GC/MS, HPLC).

Your main responsibilities will be: 

Respond to customer needs by providing repair, installation, upgrade and preventive maintenance activitiesContact customers in a timely manner and schedules service efficientlyConnect with manager and sales team to understand and meet customer needs and expectationsMaintain Agilent’s customer service reputation by aligning with all corporate policies and proceduresComplete administrative paperwork and computer reports promptly and accuratelyProvide feedback to the Product Specialists, manufacturing or OEM vendors concerning performance anomalies encountered - use the complaint handling system as required Address customer requests for service and communicate proactively before, during and after service

For this role, you will be working remotely combined with travel to customers primarily in the Nottingham area, but with occasional travel further in UK when required (with occasional nights away).

QualificationsA university degree in a Chemistry related field (Analytical Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, etc.)Strong engineering background on similar productsStrong experience in a similar position or experience with Chromatography as an end user (HPLC)Experience with troubleshooting and problem solvingExperience with the Agilent solutions is desired but not crucialVerbal and written communication is clear, respectful and timelyYou enjoy travelling and visiting customersFull proficiency in EnglishA valid driving license

Additional Details

This job has a full time weekly schedule. It includes the option to work remotely.
