Job Description:
As a Customer Support Representative, you will primarily engage in outbound calling to our US partners to obtain pricing information, which will be updated into a database. You will also handle some inbound calls, that may be funeral related, and manage escalations, which will be routed to a senior advisor. Strong de-escalation skills are essential for this role.What you will do:Make outbound calls to US partners to gather pricing information and update the databaseHandle inbound calls and respond to basic customer questions, forwarding calls to appropriate personnel as neededRecord inbound call details in a CRM system with results of the inquiryProcess inbound and outbound calls in a manner that ensures service level agreements (SLAs) are met or exceededPerform data entry in a manner that ensures service level agreements (SLAs) are metInterface with team members and management via MS Teams chat dailyRequirements of the role:High school diploma or G.E.D.Strong English speaking and writing skills (French is not mandatory or required)Call center experience is requiredMust be comfortable with multitasking across multiple browser tabsMust be proficient in using Microsoft OutlookStrong de-escalation skillsThis is a non-technical role, but it does involve some basic IT tasks, such as password resetsWork Environment:Currently remote, with a requirement to work Tuesday - Saturday 10am - 6:30pm EST; OR Monday - Friday 10am - 6:30pm ESTYou must have a valid Indefinite Canadian work permit.
