The Role

As a certified expert in your field, you will be at the forefront of revolutionizing technology solutions for our valued customers. Working hand in hand with our Kyndryl Consult Partners and customer partners, you will leverage your technical and solution expertise to drive targeted opportunities and exceed customer expectations.

In this role, you won't just be another advisor; you will be a trusted ally and visionary, delivering unique and differentiated value to our customers. Through captivating show-and-tell methods such as engaging demos and compelling presentations, you will showcase our credibility and eminence in the industry, leaving a lasting impression on potential customers.

As a vital member of our team, you will support Consulting, Advisory, and Architecture activities across Sales, Pre-Sales & Delivery, collaborating closely with Customer Partners and Kyndryl Consult Partners. With your extensive technical knowledge and mastery of the practice-specific domain, you will bring together the breadth of Kyndryl's expertise to develop profitable deals that drive our success.

Your technical prowess, backed by your external certifications, will establish you as a true authority in your field.

As a Customer Technology Advisor, you will possess strong technical and business acumen, allowing you to provide value driven solutions within the practice services domain(s). Your exceptional customer facing skills, combined with your articulate communication style and interpersonal finesse, will enable you to effortlessly convey the technical benefits of Kyndryl's capabilities, perfectly matching the unique needs of each customer.

As a strategic thinker, you will identify the intricate business and technical requirements of our customers, leveraging the vast capabilities of Kyndryl to generate winning cross-practice solutions. Your ability to develop and deliver compelling demonstrations, proof of concepts, and prototypes will clearly demonstrate the tangible value our offerings bring to our customers, leaving them eager to partner with us.

In addition to your technical expertise, you will also take the lead in coordinating the entire pre-sales process, ensuring quality and compliance verification while adhering to Kyndryl best practices. Your collaboration with internal and external stakeholders will generate winning responses and create optimal technical solutions. Moreover, you will actively build and nurture relationships with our external alliance partners, fostering a collaborative environment where joint solutions are co-created.

Required Experience:

At least 3 years of experience in the following areas:Applied knowledge of application modernization and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, Helm, Tanzu) and methodologies.Applied technical expertise in application modernization and containerization using technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, and Helm, with applied knowledge of enterprise Kubernetes management and Kubernetes applications management.Applied technical expertise on containerization platforms (Red Hat OpenShift, Kubernetes, Suse Rancher, Docker, VMware Tanzu), methodologies (DevSecOps, GitOps), and corresponding tools and best practices (image registries, persistent/object storage, helm/kustomize, container security & networking) , with applied knowledge of enterprise Kubernetes infrastructure and application management Extensive experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and their container-related services (e.g., EC2, ECS, EKS, AKS, App Services, GKE, Cloud Run).Automation technologies and tools (Ansible/Terraform)Data-Driven Assessment: Ability to evaluate existing applications to identify best modernization strategy  (i.e., workload analysis). This involves analyzing technical debt, complexity, and business impact.General knowledge of cloud native/microservices development methodologies, languages, IDEs, middlewaresBusiness Case Development: Skills in creating compelling business cases for modernization projects, including ROI analysis and risk evaluation.Client-facing activities, with an attitude for business development, sales engagement leadership and commitment, direct communication and relationship management with CxO level

Preferred Experience

Application centric migration projects, to containerized/cloud native environmentDesign, implementation, and management of virtualization systems.Design, implementation, and management of containerized environments.Orchestration, management, and automation (e.g., Zero Touch approach, as well as Infrastructure as Code methodologies and developments).Knowledge of web-based applications and Agile, DevOps, CI/CD, and as-a-Service methodologies.Implementation and management of Data Governance and Data Management services on Public Cloud using native PaaS and/or new Data Platforms.Transformation and modernization of IT environments and IT operationsOffering management activities, with a focus on asset development and asset reusing.5 years of experience (minimum) selling technical services for multi-industry customers

Required Skills:

Relevant certifications for one or more of the 3 hyperscalers (e.g., Microsoft Azure, AWS, Google) on their container-related services (e.g., EC2, ECS, EKS, AKS, App Services, GKE, Cloud Run).Redhat certifications (at least)Red Hat Enterprise Linux (certificazione EX200 preferred/not required)Red Hat OpenShift Platform (certificazione EX280 preferred/not required)Terraform, Ansible. Proven ability to develop and present technical solutions to clients.
