We’re looking for a **Customer Technology Specialist for Nordic & Baltics**
**Purpose:**
The role of Customer Technology Specialist is the vital link between Corteva and the field—translating the needs of growers, advisors, and partners into actionable insights. CTS leads the design and execution of trial fields and demonstration platforms, ensuring our crop protection products are positioned effectively and backed by solid technical evidence. Working closely with our R&D, marketing, and sales teams, CTS helps shape the future of sustainable agriculture in the region. The CTS role is a key individual in the roll out/launch of products and technical support to those products, leading and ensuring appropriate Technical Transfer to Corteva peers and key stakeholders
CTS is a proactive, independent team player with a strong foundation in crop protection and a passion for innovation.
**Key Responsibilities**
**1.** **Understand Customer Needs**
+ Partner with the needs of channel partners, end users, officials, and other influencers regarding Corteva Biologicals, Nitrogen Inhibitors and Crop Protection products and -projects in order to collect and interpret technical needs of users, influencers and channel partners by crops, products and product programs.
+ Analyses on desired and realistic agronomical positioning in dealer and user programs.
+ Defines local Agronomy questions to fit desired product technical positioning and reaches agreement with the Local Product Concept Team (LPCT) and local teams.
**2.** **Project Definition**
+ Interact with the Category Marketing Manager (CMM) in order to implement regional and global projects into the countries.
+ Interact with the Field Scientists and Technical Teams on the exact objectives and reasons for trials/demos to support customer needs on existing and future products.
+ Coordinate and drive his/her own set of trials and demos in the geography.
+ Contribute to case building for new projects:
+ Contribute to the completion of decision charts for new products/concepts.
+ Attend the Crop Protection review meetings, for relevant projects, and represents local needs.
+ Contribute local agronomy know-how to protocol design for projects.
**3.** **Technical Transfer**
+ Transfer the knowledge on Corteva portfolio to Corteva teams. Assist in the implementation of customer needs regarding agronomical questions.
+ Elaborate technical literature, presentations, and commercial materials to support product positioning.
+ Design and coordinate effective and conclusive demo-trial programs for new products in the area, as defined within LPCTs.
+ Spread and share technical results of our products with the main stakeholders. Technology Transfer to Biologicals, nitrogen Inhibitors and Crop Protection Sales Team, Officials and influencers.
+ Give agronomy know-how support for the Corteva portfolio (existing and new products).
**4.** **Advocacy and engagement of stakeholders**
+ Build trusting and lasting relationships with influencers (central and regional governments, grower unions, advisors, technical institutes, research centers, universities, key customers, etc.).
+ Implement advocacy/endorsement strategies defined by LPCTs with authorities and stakeholders in a national level (central and regional governments, grower unions, advisors, research centers, universities, key customers, etc.).
+ Engage stakeholders (central and regional governments, grower unions, advisors, research centers, universities, key customers, etc.) to create collaborative partnerships and to achieve deeper impact on our portfolio at country level.
**5.** **Miscellaneous**
+ Coordination with European Technical Experts, within a network to search for synergies, analyzing regional opportunities (definition of common projects, coordination with Field Scientists and Regulatory Sciences department)
+ Product stewardship.
+ Give support to the Sales Team and CMM on complaints/claims.
+ Analyze competitor knowledge (technical strengths and weaknesses).
+ Use and encourage use of digital platforms to promote our activities, campaigns, products or services.
**Location:** Copenhagen office with possibility to work 20% from Home
**Travel:** Up to 30%.
**To Grow What Matters, You Will Need**
+ University degree in Agronomy, Agrisciences or related field
+ Minimum 3 years’ experience in similar roles with strong technical knowledge of crops and crop management
+ Hands-on experience conducting field trials with crop protection products
+ Demonstrated strong agronomic background in areas including Plant Nutrition, Soil Science, Horticulture, Agriculture, and Plant Physiology
+ Solid understanding of project management and commercial environments
+ Established connections with research organizations is a plus
+ Proficient in MS Office and effective use of digital tools
+ Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability; capable of interpreting diverse viewpoints and providing actionable insights.
+ Results-driven and business-oriented with a customer-focused approach; ability to build strong relationships and respond to client needs
+ Collaborative, loyal, and committed to organizational and team success
+ Excellent interpersonal skills; clear and concise written and verbal communication; effective public speaking and ability to engage audiences in technical and commercial presentations
+ Full proficiency in English and at least one Scandinavian language
