You’ll make an impact by: Regional Customs Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact for customs functions across Europe (excluding Germany), ensuring the implementation and adherence to Siemens customs policies, guidelines, and processes.Customs Awareness Advocate: Build strong relationships with local customs teams, driving awareness and best practices in customs and foreign trade across European countries.Risk Assessor: Proactively monitor regulatory changes, emerging trends, and risks in customs & foreign trade, providing early insights to support business strategies.Cross-Functional Collaborator: Facilitate effective communication and collaboration on customs matters with various corporate functions within our global organization.Strategic Customs Advisor: Offer guidance on supranational customs issues for international projects and complex business operations.Industry Influencer: Represent Siemens by actively participating in European customs associations and working groups, shaping industry discussions and policies.
This is how you'll win us over: Education:Master´s degree in the field of business administration, business law or equivalent course of study or an equivalent qualificationExperience & Skills:Long-term experience in the field of customs with a solid understanding of European customs lawGood technical knowledge on business processes (e.g. CRM, PLM, SCM, etc.)Advanced Intercultural know-howWays of working: Excellent problem-solving skills, communication strength, and team ability, customer orientation as well as analytical and moderation skillsLanguages: business proficiency in German and English
