Customs Coordinator

In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

Prepare and coordinate with the Mexican customs broker regarding the classification of purchased and manufactured items, ensuring compliance with any requirements, licenses, or duty payments vital for importing materials into the U.S. Maintain and update the Prisms database with part numbers for raw materials, subassemblies, and finished products, ensuring all required information is included. Follow up in a daily basis the logistics process and scrap recollection and identify any area with opportunity for improvement from suppliers; and follow up with suppliers to implement any improvement action Demonstrate advanced proficiency in the Prism software to handle imports and exports of raw materials, equipment, and finished goods. Ensure compliance with classification and valuation procedures, and generate receiving reports for the Finance department, specifically for MRO materials. Maintain accurate records of import and export pediments (air and ground), along with supporting documentation, and prepare monthly and annual records. Lead all aspects of receiving and shipping activities at the warehouse in El Paso, TX, ensuring efficient coordination. Lead customs activities, including imports, exports, and tax documentation, to align with Mexican laws and regulations. Provide support to the Traffic and Customs Supervisor by assisting with assigned tasks and responsibilities.     Who You Are: You evaluate pros and cons, risks and benefits of different solution options You build constructive relationships with people both similar and different to yourself. You quickly and crucially take actions in fact-changing, unexpected situations.  For This Role, You Will Need Export and import documentation •HTS classification and Origin knowledge •Knowledge on IMMEX, OEA and C-TPAT •Shipping documentation, inventories, US export declarations, International commercial Terms (INCO terms) and logistic
