Job Title: Customs Entry Specialist

Location: Arcadia, WI

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Customs Entry Specialist to join our international operations team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and timely clearance of goods through U.S. Customs and other regulatory agencies for import and export. The role requires strong knowledge of international trade regulations, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently under pressure to meet deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

Customs Documentation: Prepare, submit, and manage the necessary documentation for the import and export of goods, ensuring compliance with all international trade regulations.Compliance Monitoring: Stay up-to-date with the latest customs laws, import/export regulations, and tariff classifications to ensure compliance with government requirements.Customs Clearances: Coordinate with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and government agencies to clear shipments efficiently, minimizing delays and penalties.Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate records of all customs entries, filings, and correspondence for audit and compliance purposes.Problem Resolution: Address and resolve any customs-related issues or disputes that arise during the import/export process.Communication: Serve as a liaison between internal teams, suppliers, customers, and external agencies to facilitate the smooth flow of goods across borders.

Qualifications:

Education: Associate degree in International Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field preferredExperience: At least 1 year of experience in office support, clerical, or administrative workKnowledge: Basic understanding of import documentation and logistics. Ability to achieve a basic understanding of import documentation and logistics Skills:Proficiency with customs entry software (is a plus) and Microsoft office Suite(required)Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple shipments simultaneously.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work cross-functionally with global teams.Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
