We are excited to welcome a new member to our Customs and Trade Master Data team. Our mission is to ensure that we are proactively driving customs and trade compliance to deliver competitiveness E2E and enable customer success. As the Customs Master Data Export Classification Senior, you will ensure trade compliance by classifying goods, including military items.
Your daily responsibilities will include:
+ Act as the main contact for product classification, including military vehicles adaptations.
+ Monitor and analyze BIS and DDTC regulations.
+ Develop global knowledge base for Export Control Classification.
+ Support export/import impact analysis for sanctions.
+ Drive classification investigations for products or technology.
+ Utilize data analytics to prioritize classification operations.
You will liaise with legal, sales, and engineering heads, and work on special projects involving ITAR and US EAR 600-series technology. You will work in a cross functional team environment supporting HS classification processes. You must be a US citizen with no multiple citizenships due to export requirements. This role can be based in either Greensboro, NC, or Shippensburg, PA.

+ The ideal candidate for this position has a bachelor’s degree in engineering, International Trade, or similar field, or equivalent experience.
+ Five plus years of experience working with Customs classification.
+ Experience with Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS), Export Administration. Regulations, DDTC, and Commodity Jurisdiction (preferred).
+ Strong leadership, networking, and data analytic skills.
+ Ability to process large data sets and drive action plans.
+ Possess knowledge of automotive, marine or construction machinery products preferred.
