Customs Specialist France (F/H)

We are looking for a Customs Specialist France (F/H) to manage the entire customs function on the national territory for our 6 French sites and all their flows.
Grow With Us - Vos Responsabilités:
+ To set up an import and export compliance programme for the company, taking into account the obligations set out in the EU Customs Code, the constraints set out in the French Customs code and in circulars issued by the DGDDI, and the Global Trade Compliance objectives set by the group; while integrating current developments in terms of digitalisation.
+ To be the local person of reference in terms of technical customs advice and associated research: in particular to determine the customs combined nomenclature, the customs value and the origin of products developed, purchased or sold by the Company.
+ Participate, in cooperation with the supply chain, in the sustainable development approach to flow management.
+ To be the initiator of setting up a national centralised customs clearance and - within 3 years – obtain an AEO certification.Operational, optimised and compliant customs
+ Draft and launch a project for the implementation of the Customs function, identify gaps and implement plans for continuous improvement of compliance and efficiency in this area,
+ Advise the various departments of the Company on the planning and execution of international transactions,
+ Plan and organise awareness and/or training programmes and actions (internal and external) in customs matters for all staff (including yourself) at the French sites,
+ Organise a regulatory monitoring procedure according to the activities of the French sites
+ Define the interest for, prepare the application files, negotiate, file and ensure the follow-up, archiving and renewal of the various customs authorisations.
+ Communicating with governmental bodies (various customs services in particular)
+ Establish contractual relationships with Registered Customs Representatives (selective process, streamlining, audits) for reliable and sustainable cooperation,
+ Assist the Sites Security Manager in the protection of sensitive information and access to areas containing sensitive materials or data.
+ Prepare monthly metrics as required by the Group
+ Manage the associated reports in a timely manner.
+ Support tactical and strategic projects led by the Global Trade Team at Group Headquarters
Votre Profil:
+ Higher education degree in customs law, international trade, transport or logistics or professional qualifications directly related to the activity to be carried out.
+ Minimum 6 year experience in a similar position.
+ Good knowledge of EU customs requirements and French customs policies. Knowledge of Incoterm rules and logistics issues.
+ Knowledge of office automation tools: MS Office pack, dedicated government information systems (DELTA, RITA, SOPRANO, etc.), knowledge of SAP GTS, as well as "gateway" software (such as Conex or Easylog), would be appreciated.
+ The candidate must be able to work in a team environment and have the ability to manage priorities, and have thoroughness, rigour, autonomy,and perseverance.
+ Good verbal and written communication skills, in both French and English, with all levels of the organisation as well as with government agencies.
