The opportunity: 

We are looking for a Cut and Crease 2nd Minder to join our team, specializing in pharmaceutical cartons. Your main duty will be die-cutting pharmaceutical cartons to meet specific quality, volume, and yield standards. Flexibility is essential, as you will also handle any tasks you are trained and competent to perform.

How you will impact Smurfit-Westrock : 

Perform full area clearance and maintain housekeeping standards.Supply, remove, and change tooling on all machines.Set and run a die cutting press, optimizing speed and quality.Cover for Operator absences and maintain quality standards.Move and allocate work according to the production plan.Change pallets and set bottom pins as per the plan.Ensure the entire department is tidy.Follow operating procedures and quality policies.Conduct routine maintenance and report additional needs.Assist in other business areas as needed.
