Minimum Qualifications:

Ability to view and discern similar colors. High school diploma or GED equivalency required. Successful completion of on-the-job training programs. Reads and writes in standard English and proficient performing basic math calculations such as addition and subtraction. Frequently required to reach, handle, stand, walk, sit, and stoop. Occasionally required to kneel. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds frequently throughout a 10- hour shift. Work in a normal industrial environment with inherent background noise, dirt, humidity, and temperature variations. Working conditions include hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by moving mechanical parts, airborne particles, and noise. Requires standing more than 2/3 of time.

 

Job Tasks:

Sets stop to correct width based on requirements of Work Order. Unpacks product from skid and places on work side table. Holds products steady, engages saw and cuts material. Stacks cut product on conveyor to go to next process. Writes total number of finished pieces on Production Order Process List. Places scrap material into dumpster for removal. Follows established quality and safety standards. Changes blade on saw when necessary. Perform general maintenance on equipment. Perform all machine safety checks. Ability to read and understand requirements of a Bill of Materials and Work Order. May also perform duties of Material Handler when needed. • Performs cleanup of area at end of shift. Other duties as requested by management.
