Position Description

Performs various tasks and duties to provide technical assistance and support to medical/surgical staff and personnel during surgical procedures.

Position Requirements

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES/LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION REQUIRED

 

High School diploma or equivalent.  Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS).

 

 

 

 

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES/LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION PREFERRED

 

Certification in Surgical Technology. Surgical Technologist with one (1) or more years of experience. Visual color acuity screening depending on the role in specific units.
