Cyber Analyst (AMCOM)
General Summary: Performs system monitoring and analysis support for the detection of cyber incidents and provides recommendations on how to correct findings. Principal Duties and Responsibilities (*Essential Functions): + Provides basic support for testing, investigations, and maintenance of system accreditation + Identifies where systems/networks deviate from acceptable configurations, enclave policy, or local policy + Assists in conducting basic audits to ensure information systems security policies and procedures are being implemented as defined in security plans and best practices + Provides routine support of program control processes and accreditation of systems + Performs basic analyses to validate established security requirements and may recommend additional security requirements and safeguards + Assists in the development of Risk Management Framework (RMF) Certification and Accreditation documentation, standard operating procedures, policies, and security instructions for both networked and stand-alone computer systems + Supports the Cyber Security Program to include, but not limited to, cyber security policy, procedures, and regulations to assist with identifying potential cyber security issues + Implements, enforces, communicates, and develops security policies or plans for data, software applications, hardware, telecommunications, and information systems security education/awareness programs + Establishes and satisfies system-wide information security requirements based upon the analysis of user, policy, regulatory, and resource demands + Supports onboarding of new employees through management of DD Form 2875 processes as well as required cyber training implementation and tracking At COLSA, people are our most valuable resource and centered at our core value. Required SkillsRequired Experience + Associate's degree or Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience. + Minimum of 3 related certifications may be used in place of unrelated degree field. + Minimum of 10 plus years of work related experience. + Must be able to obtain/maintain a Secret security clearance; US citizenship required. + Active Security+ CE (or higher level) certification that meets DoD 8570/8140 approved baseline. + Ability to clearly present and communicate technical approaches and findings. Preferred Qualifications + Advanced degree preferred.
