The role will be working in the UK Cyber Risk Consulting team based in London. What the day will look like Primary objective is to support the Aon Cyber Risk consulting business in for M&A market working closely with the EMEA Cyber Risk Directors Support in achieving project budgets and client deliverables Continue to improve the solutions and professional practice of the team Support client engagements across UK and EMEA Supporting development initiatives across the region Understanding and anticipating client needs based on a strong understanding of cyber risks across numerous industries (e.g. finance and insurance, IT and technology, infrastructure, healthcare and life sciences, etc.) Understand and apply quality assurance standards to all project work Delivering and supporting across a range of Cybersecurity services: Cybersecurity Due Diligence Cybersecurity Risk Assessments and Quantification Cybersecurity Optimisation and Strategy Cybersecurity Portfolio Management Cybersecurity Capability and ISMS Maturity Responsibility for working in accordance with the Aon UK Limited Risk Management Framework, and compliance with the Aon UK Limited policies, including participation in the management of risks (including completion of mandatory training) that may adversely affect the business, interests or reputation of any Group Company. How this opportunity is different The Cyber Risk Consulting team works closely with Aon M&A and Transaction Solution (AMATS) to identify and quantify cyber risks in both deal and holding period contexts, assisting our clients to understand cyber maturity and cyber risks in financial loss terms, and supporting in the implementation of appropriate risk mitigation and transfer solutions. The team also works to provide strategies for cyber security optimisation and maturity uplift to ensure the continuity and security of existing holdings. AMATS is a diverse team of transaction experts who are focussed on securing investments and enhancing returns through specialist deal advisory services and transaction solutions. You will be given the opportunity to work with some of Aon’s most prestigious M&A clients on a variety of deal situations, including directly with our client’s deal teams and security stakeholders. This is a fast-paced environment. Cybersecurity & data privacy remains the most rapidly evolving risk topic in M&A deals where our clients require support from our specialists to identify and mitigate cyber risks in a transaction context. The role will predominantly focus on Cybersecurity services for Private Equity and Corporate M&A clients, however may also require support in other Cyber Risk consulting situations. Skills and experience that will lead to success Experience in consulting in fast-paced environments Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks and standards such as NIST CSF, ISO27001, and CIS Critical Security Controls Broad Cyber knowledge across multiple domains with a specialism in one or more areas such as: Cloud Security Operational Technology (OT) Third Party Risk Management Identity and Access Management Business Continuity and Incident Responses Cyber experience within multiple industry verticals Experience and/or understanding of M&A and Private Equity Commercial awareness and adaptability Excellent verbal and written communication skills Awareness of cyber insurance placements Strong project management and presentation skills Experience of supporting business development tasks Ability to relay technical findings to both technical and non-technical personnel Experience of developing and managing positive client relationships How we support our colleagues In addition to our comprehensive benefits package, we encourage a diverse workforce.
