Cyber Defense Platforms - Operational Excellence Manager (m/f/d)
The Operational Excellence Manager serves as a strategic and operational role driving process improvements and operational maturity within the assigned department. This position ensures alignment of the team with the DEF Department’s goals and strategy. It enhances operational efficiency of the team in strong alignment within the DEF Management Office. Hence, also maintaining compliance with the organization’s regulations and standards. Within the DEF Management Office each Operational Excellence Manager of a single team will be appointed to lead some defined horizontal operational excellence topics for the DEF organization.

What will be your responsibilities?

Supports and coordinates team, based on DEF Management Office standardization.Financial Planning: Supports Financial Planning and Workforce Planning in collaboration with DEF Finance and Department Head. Communication Management: Develops and execute communication plans to ensure stakeholders and Defense organization are informed about cybersecurity initiatives, progress, and risks.Reporting and Dashboarding: Ensures reporting accuracy and timeliness for decision-making purposes.Service Management: Ensures the Defense Standard on Service Management and support stakeholder engagement.Task Management: Oversees Task Management practices to ensure timely execution of activities and initiatives and aligned across Defense Organization.Risk Management: Manages department risks in alignment with Defense Management Risks. Project Governance: Ensures compliance with organizational standards and DEF Management Office governance practices.Manages one of the above defined horizontal DEF topics within DEF Management Office. 
What do you need to qualify for this job?University Diploma or Master’s degree or equivalent experience. Project Management or MBA are a plus but not required.Ability to manage and align cross-functional team as well as driving team collaboration and ensuring standardization.Ability to collaborate with other team members and maintain a positive dynamic, while submitting frequent requests and working under pressure.Fluent in spoken and written English, including business terminology. Stakeholder management involves identifying, analyzing, and engaging individuals, groups, or organizations that have an interest in a project, program, or organization.Ability to create budget, forecasts and reporting.Knowledge of Project Management methodologies, and ability to coordinate and ensure adherence to organizational standard and timely delivery.Ability to create and execute communication plan for the department. Proficiency in creating clear, concise and actionable reports and presentations for middle & senior management and stakeholders. Ability to create reports, analyze and visualize data to support decision-making.
