HOW A CYBER SECURITY ANALYST WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

Provide policy integration and programmatic support for cybersecurity issues and topics.

Draft and revise well-written, detailed cybersecurity policy documents, consistent with the customer's style guide.

Review and provide actionable comments for customer's internal policy coordination, as well as external policy coordination.

Consolidate and adjudicate comments and edits in policy documents, working with peers and subject matter experts to ensure accuracy.

Draft decision point documents for senior leadership team.

Design or modify comprehensive briefing packages with data and information that will resonate with senior leadership.

Communicate and collaborate with stakeholders across customer's organization, as well as external community partners.

Facilitate cybersecurity meetings with stakeholders and lead discussion to achieve consensus.

Engage in continuous, self-taught learning and research to support customer's rapidly evolving cyber initiatives.

Leverage customer's subject matter experts to ensure technical details in policy matters are clear and concise.

Compose and maintain correspondence documentation.

Respond with agility and flexibility to meet changing priorities and deadlines.

Identify process efficiencies and propose solutions to customer.

Perform peer review and quality checks on cybersecurity documents and presentations.

Work independently and with a team with minimal supervision, to identify roadblocks, provide viable solutions, and deliver expert results.

Identify and provide early notification of policy issues to the customer, as well as recommendations for resolving them.

Support customer meetings, projects, and initiatives with a variety of written products.

Travel to local customers to discuss initiatives, projects, and other items.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work experience.

Experience: 15+ years

Technical Skills:

Working knowledge of cybersecurity

Policy writing

Cybersecurity policy review

Security Clearance Level: TS/SCI/Polygraph

Preferred Skills: Recognized as a Subject Matter Expert in Cybersecurity

Location: Herndon, VA - On Customer Site
