We are currently seeking a senior Project Portfolio Office Lead to provide structure, oversight and governance for a high level priority in flight Cybersecurity program.
This role is pivotal in ensuring program management alignment with the objectives of the program, managing risks and dependencies whilst driving execution excellence.
The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in program governance, risk and control management, stakeholder engagement, and reporting with a track record of enabling successful delivery in complex environments.
About the Cybersecurity GRC Team
The Governance Risk & Compliance team is an exciting and growing area of cybersecurity which ensures that State Street maintains a strong cybersecurity posture by aligning with regulatory requirements, industry standards and internal risk management frameworks.

What you will be responsible for
Program Governance & Oversight
Establish and maintain a robust governance framework that aligns to both e GTS Project Management Standard and the Enterprise Strategic Change framework.Ensure that all program milestones, deliverables and KPI;s are effectively tracked and reported.Partner with the Program Director to provide timely insights and escalation mechanismsRisk & Issue Management
Identify, track, and mitigate risks and issues, ensuring effective escalation and resolution strategiesDrive dependency management across workstreamsEnsure proactive change management, assessing impacts and ensuring alignment with the programs objectives and outcomesStakeholder engagement and communication
Act as a trusted advisor to the program leadership team, facilitating decision making, through data driven insights.Develop and execute a communication plan ensuring stakeholders are informed of progress risks and outcomesSupport cross functional collaboration ensuring alignment between workstreamsReporting
Own and deliver program status reporting, ensuring visibility into key risks, dependencies and performance progressImplement dashboards and reporting mechanisms to drive transparency and accountabilityContinuously refine and improve processes to enhance efficiency and effectivenessWhat we value

Bachelor’s degree in IT or Computer Science10-15 years of experience in program/project management and or PMO leadershipAt least 5-7 years specifically leading PMO’s for large scale, complex programsExperience in working in regulated industries ideally in Financial ServicesExpertise in program governance and risk managementStrong stakeholder management and communication skills with the ability to engage senior leads and teamsProficiency in program management tools (e.g., JIRA, Clarity, Microsoft Project, Power BI)Are you the right candidate? Salary Range:
$170,000 - $267,500 AnnualThe range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
