What You Will Do:
Guidehouse is seeking a knowledgeable Cyber Project Manager to join our expanding Cybersecurity practice. The ideal candidate will be defining project scope, developing plans to mitigate cyber risks, supervising security teams, applying security patches, managing compliance, and ensuring coordination among stakeholders, essentially overseeing the implementation of cybersecurity projects from start to finish while minimizing potential threats and adhering to security standards.
Duties and responsibilities include:
Delivering on cybersecurity projects using the best approach as set out within any project methodology processes.
Collaborate with technical teams to ensure security policies are properly implemented and operational controls align with written policies.
Provide subject matter expertise on privacy regulations and their intersection with cybersecurity requirements.
Support client advisory services through policy research, benchmark analysis, and best practice recommendations.
Clearly defining project scope, costs, success criteria, dependencies, assumptions, and constraints with stakeholders.
Defining priorities and requirements and managing the project through planning, design, build, testing, and service transition phases.
Ensuring the agreed objectives and success criteria are delivered on time and within budget.
Identifies and facilitates the resolution of any issues that may arise.
Managing multiple individuals and project aspects running concurrently.
What You Will Need:
An ACTIVE and MAINTAINED SECRET Federal or DoD security clearance.
Bachelor’s degree
THREE (3) or more years of experience in project/program management
Strong understanding of federal cybersecurity regulations and frameworks
Demonstrable experience developing security policies and procedures.
Excellent analytical and research skills
Superior written and verbal communication abilities
What Would Be Nice to Have:
An ACTIVE and MAINTAINED TOP SECRET Federal or DoD security clearance
Master’s degree
CISSP, PMP, CISM, or equivalent certification
FIVE (5) or more years of experience in cybersecurity policy development and analysis
Federal agency or consulting experience; policy writing experience in regulated industries.
Experience with privacy regulations and compliance.
Background in risk management
The annual salary range for this position is $113,000.00-$188,000.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
