ISS-Corporate is seeking an experienced Cyber Risk Advisor/Client Success candidate to join our growing cyber risk solutions group. The client success team is responsible for managing the client lifecycle post-sale including initial software-as-a-service onboarding and training, client adoption of available solution capabilities, and being the primary client advocate to internal groups. A key focus of the client success team is to engage with our leading customers and strategic development partners to aid clients in finding success with our offerings, extend our reach, grow revenues, and ensure client satisfaction.
The successful candidate is adaptable, eager to learn, and an efficient problem solver. They are a skilled communicator, comfortable speaking with people operating at all levels of an organization, and able to develop strong connections and working relationships with clients. They leverage their technical aptitude and soft skills to work with a broad set of users ranging from Legal and Investor Relations to IT network security personnel and CISOs, as well as other key stakeholders by proactively identifying issues and addressing them, and helping to turn clients into advocates of ISS-Corporate's cyber solutions. This position will have a high level of autonomy and accountability in a rapidly changing environment, which will require a unique blend of self-motivation, creativity, persistence, and analytical skills.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Act as a trusted point-of-contact for clients and serve as domain expert on ISS-Corporate's cyber risk solutions
Own and manage client inquiry and issue resolution process, utilizing SalesForce.com and other internal tools
Manage the customer lifecycle post sale, including initial client onboarding, online product demonstrations and training, adoption of the cyber solutions and ongoing engagement throughout the subscription term, and proactively identifying renewal risk and developing client retention strategies
Develop materials and presentations for executive level training and reporting
Work with the ISS-Corporate's leadership team to develop a world class client success strategy
Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Product and Support teams to enhance the end-user experience
Assist in product development efforts by delivering feedback on market needs and opportunities
Maintain active interest in and awareness of information security industry trends and developments, and proactively communicate key developments to clients
DESIRED EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
2 + years of progressive experience as a cyber security practitioner and/or developing client success strategies in the security, IT or compliance industries
Bachelor’s Degree in business, technology, information security, or a related field is required
Prior experience working with sales team in pre-sales or post-sales capacity
Ability to troubleshoot and solve customer issues independently
Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to develop inter-personal relationships
Ability to communicate confidently and judiciously with clients and colleagues at all levels of an organization
Self-motivated and able to work independently and as part of team under minimal supervision
Ability to establish credibility and rapport with senior executives
Strong organization skills, project management and time-management skills
Technical aptitude in computer science, network and/or internet security, and cybersecurity topics
Ability to communicate technical subject matter, including cyber risks and various aspects of cyber security best-practices
Basic understanding of basic data science concepts, machine learning, and/or statistics for business is a definite plus
