Your future duties and responsibilities:

Achieve and maintain Department of the Navy (DoN) Authorization to Operate (ATO) for all operational IT boundaries, ensuring compliance with applicable directives, instructions, and guidelines.
Provide subject matter expertise in RMF processes, ensuring security needs are met in alignment with CNIC and DoD requirements
Fulfill and maintain DoD and DoN Cybersecurity Workforce qualification requirements
Guide and assist system owners through RMF steps 1 to 5, including:
Information system categorization (CNSS 1253, FIPS 199) and documentation using approved forms
Security control selection, tailoring, and implementation, documented in eMASS.
Creation of RMF artifacts, procedural documentation, and cybersecurity deliverables for risk assessment and authorization
Configuration management to comply with Federal, NIST, DoD, and DON requirements
Continuous monitoring and vulnerability management
Conduct vulnerability scanning, apply STIGs/patches, and manage findings through mitigation, remediation, and documentation in eMASS and VRAM
Maintain the Plan of Action and Milestones (POAM) and configuration management plans, tracking milestones and ensuring timely completion
Evaluate threats, vulnerabilities, and security findings, providing recommendations to improve IT resource protection
Review security design documentation for compliance with DoD and Federal requirements
Support eMASS workflows, ensuring accurate and prompt artifact entries to facilitate ATO processes

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

10 years relevant experience
Security+ Certification
2 - 5 years of hands-on experience with the U.S. Navy Risk Management Framework Process Guide (RPG) NAO process and procedures
Expertise in RMF processes, tools (eMASS, VRAM, NESSUS), and compliance frameworks (CNSS 1253, FIPS 199, STIGs)
Strong understanding of DoD, DoN, and CNIC cybersecurity directives, processes, and business rules

Desired qualifications/non-essential skills required:

CGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $78,400.00 - $173,500.00.
