ABOUT THE ROLE AND THE TEAM: 

As a Cybersecurity Analyst with 2-3 years of experience, you will monitor, analyze, and respond to security incidents and threats. You will work closely with the TKWW IT Security team to implement security measures, manage incidents, and ensure compliance with security policies and standards.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Monitor security systems, logs, and alerts to detect and analyze potential security incidents.  Incident Response:   Respond to security incidents by conducting initial assessments, containment, eradication, and recovery. Document incidents and create detailed reports. Assist in identifying and mitigating security vulnerabilities through regular scanning and remediation efforts. Security Audits and Compliance:   Participate in security audits and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements. Policy and Procedure Development:   Contribute to the development and maintenance of security policies, procedures, and best practices. Security Awareness:   Support security awareness training programs to educate employees about cybersecurity threats and safe practices. Work closely with IT and other departments to implement security measures and resolve security-related issues. Maintain accurate and detailed records of security incidents, configurations, and procedures.

SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATES HAVE: 

2-3 years of experience in cybersecurity or a related field A bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, cybersecurity, or a related field such as math, physics, or chemistry is highly desirable Preferred certifications include CompTIA Security+, Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), SANS GSEC (GIAC Security Essentials), or similar Proficiency in using security tools such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls, and antivirus solutions Strong understanding of network protocols, operating systems, and common security threats Experience with vulnerability scanning and penetration testing tools Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills Strong organizational and planning skills Must be fluent in English Spanish as a second language is highly desirable
