Cyber Security Engineer
Scope:
This position covers all countries in which Graphic operates. Working as a part of the Cybersecurity Team, the role of this Cybersecurity Engineer is to support technology foundational to a network security program. Specifically, this role will administer network security technology, configure reporting and automation to improve security and coordinate with other teams to address identified security issues and risks. This engineer will also recommend changes to existing IT technology to better support a network security program.
Key Responsibilities and Job Functions: Primary job functions include, but are not limited to the following:
Operate and manage network security solutions, focusing on Zscaler, Forescout, and Cisco Secure. Implement platform improvements such as enabling automated reporting and data classification. Support the development and enablement of a comprehensive network security program, including input on policies, procedures, and system configurations. Advise senior management by identifying critical security issues related to network access and recommending risk-reduction solutions. Partner with various internal company departments to provide internal security consulting for network security-related initiatives and risk reduction. Responsible for medium-to-high complexity network security technology implementations. Manage a continuous improvement process for network security operations. Develop and track network security metrics and trending for actionable patterns. Collaborate with engineering management teams to ensure proper deployment and monitoring of Zscaler, Forescout, and Cisco Secure technologies. Perform root cause analysis and future prevention/risk mitigation on critical network security incidents. Work with compliance and privacy teams, as well as vendors, to provide relevant SOX evidence for internal and external audits. Ensure regulatory compliance with regional, national, and international data privacy regulations.
Background:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information security, or related field of study; or commensurate experience Specific Certifications in Zscaler, SASE technologies, Forescout or equivalent technologies/vendors. CISSP, GIAC, or CISM certifications are preferred. 5+ years of related professional experience in information security capabilities, such as: security engineering, deploying cyber security stack tools, SASE, WAF, CASB, … .
Required Skills:
Strong analytical and problem-resolution skills. Strong knowledge of data security best practices, privacy frameworks, and security compliance. Strong written and verbal communication skills, as well as the ability to work well with a diverse client base. Ability to articulate the importance of data security. Comfort with promoting cybersecurity and data hygiene up and down the management chain, including audiences who have varying levels of familiarity with the topic. Ability to maintain proper documentation and relevant records in an orderly, transparent fashion. Ability to work in a virtual team environment across global time zones. Ability to analyze data and recommend actions to drive continual operational improvement.
Pay Range: $78,750.00 - $105,000.00
