RBR-Technologies is seeking a Cyber Security Engineer to support one of our customers in Columbia, MD.\n

RESPONSIBILITIES\n\nThe Cybersecurity Engineer is a specialized field of system engineering that integrates cybersecurity requirements, engineering principles, and system design standards to ensure the architecture for DoD weapons systems, communications platforms, and information remains secure.\nYou will use your systems engineering expertise review and assess of a wide range of complex weapon systems to identify technical risks within the system's cybersecurity posture.\nYou will work with the system owner to develop and recommend appropriate mitigations to manage cybersecurity risks. \nResponsible for reviewing and assessing cybersecurity architectures across a variety of applications or domains for systems with large size, complexity, and risk.\nPartner with the DoD customers building these systems to guide them and to help them understand the cybersecurity trade space.\n\n

REQUIREMENTS\n\n5 years experience as a Cybersecurity Engineer on programs of similar scope\/size. BS in Computer Science, System Engineering or related STEM discipline OR 3 years experience as a Cybersecurity Engineer on programs of similar scope \/ size with MS in Computer Science, System Engineering, or related discipline OR 1 year as a Cybersecurity Engineer on programs of similar scope\/size with a PhD or JD degree\nCompTIA Security +\nOne or more of the following (required) or within 6 months of start on contract: CPTE, CEH, CISA, CISSP\n\n

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS\n\nExperience with Cybersecurity best practices and Threat-based Cybersecurity frameworks\nExperience providing system security engineering guidance for DoD customers\nFamiliar with system authorization process and necessary security artifacts\n\n
