Deploy and maintain Cyber Security Infrastructure services across QBE globally in line with QBE
strategy, business requirements, and security processes and policies. The role holder will be responsible
for installing, maintaining, upgrading, and continuously improving Cyber Security Infrastructure,
maintaining the ongoing reliability, performance, and support of the platforms. This includes responding
to incidents and problems, monitoring, testing and troubleshooting, and planning for growth.

• Determine own work priorities and activities in line with agreed plans to ensure the achievement
• of personal and team objectives.
• Plan regular maintenance and performance improvements to the Cyber Security infrastructure to ensure it remains fit for purpose
• Formulate, document, and implement standardized processes and procedures for day-to-day

management of Cyber Security Infrastructure globally
• Review alerts and determine priority and action required.
• Participate in, and help refine, Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity tests
• Subscribe to security bulletins and advisories for technologies deployed by QBE.
• Actively communicate with business users to correctly identify and resolve problems and
manage their expectations
• Document incidents, requests and problem management information to ensure required compliance standards/SLAs are achieved
• Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to maintain and improve service to business users and enhance knowledge and information sharing
• Positively promote the department and company as a whole
• Maintain protection of information resources by implementing and managing cyber security systems such as antivirus, data loss prevention, encryption, and privileged access management

• Ensure cyber security infrastructure, systems and services are fit for purpose and operational

• Undertake best practice operational management, including monitoring, tuning, and patch
management
• Maintain the logical security of the Cyber Security Infrastructure estate
• Resolve service incidents in line with SLAs
• Respond to security changes and requests by implementing and updating cyber security technologies
• Maintain awareness of security policies and standards. Apply security policies and standards to all projects, tasks, and functions.
• Assist with audit activity where required
• Ensure the sharing of knowledge and processes throughout the team
• Contribute to team effectiveness and morale by active participation in team activities and development
• Adopt QBE values in work behaviors, decision-making, contributions and interpersonal interactions
• Manage own career development by soliciting feedback and valuing other perspectives
