We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced GCP + Kubernetes L3 Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing and deploying applications on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Kubernetes, with a strong focus on automation, scalability, and reliability.
Responsibilities:
• Design and Implement: Architect and implement scalable, reliable, and secure cloud infrastructure using GCP and Kubernetes.
• Manage Deployments: Oversee the deployment, management, and scaling of containerized applications using Kubernetes.
• Automation: Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar.
• Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Implement monitoring solutions and troubleshoot issues related to cloud infrastructure and applications.
• Security: Ensure the security of the cloud infrastructure by implementing best practices and compliance requirements.
• Collaboration: Work closely with development, operations, and security teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of applications.
Requirements:
• Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in cloud engineering, with at least 3 years focused on GCP and Kubernetes.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in GCP services such as Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, Cloud Functions, and BigQuery. Strong knowledge of Kubernetes, including experience with Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE). Experience with containerization technologies like Docker. Familiarity with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or Ansible. Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or similar.
• Certifications: GCP Professional Cloud Architect or GCP Professional DevOps Engineer certification is a plus.
• Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills, strong communication abilities, and a collaborative mindset.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with other cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) is a plus.
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools.
• Experience with microservices architecture and serverless computing.
