Cyber Security Engineer II
As a Cyber Security Architect/Engineer II at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing cybersecurity solutions to protect our systems and data. This is an exciting opportunity for software developers who are looking to transition into the cybersecurity field. In this role, you will work with cross-functional teams to identify security requirements, assess risks, and develop strategies to mitigate vulnerabilities. Your foundation in software development and your passion for security will help enhance the overall security posture of the organization. You will report directly to our Senior Cyber Security Manager and you'll work out of one of our following offices on a hybrid work schedule: Phoenix AZ, Minneapolis MN, Charlotte, NC, Ft. Mill SC. In this role, you will impact the safety and integrity of our systems by: - Performing internal audits against selected projects to demonstrate compliance with appropriate policies and standards - Communicating and partner with issue owners to ensure remediation activities of all issues are being completed on time to plan - Supporting Corporate and External Audits of Products - Developing compliance, risk assessment and standards and processes leveraging Corporate Policies, and external certification requirements - Developing and track metrics ensuring that the Audit, Compliance and Process mandates are being followed - Reporting monthly metrics of issues and vulnerabilities KEY RESPONSIBILITIES • Conduct Product Assessments to ensure compliance to the SSDLC • Implement security policies, standards, and procedures • Work with Engineering Product Development Teams to ensure their products follow the SSDLC and Honeywell Security Policies • Mentor Engineering Product Development Teams and ensure compliance • Provide guidance and facilitate to internal stakeholders on cybersecurity best practices US PERSON REQUIREMENT Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. citizen, U.S. permanent resident, or have asylum or refugee status in the U.S. BENEFITS OF WORKING FOR HONEYWELL In addition to a performance-driven salary, cutting-edge work, and developing solutions side-by-side with dedicated experts in their fields, Honeywell employees are eligible for a comprehensive benefits package.
