Lockheed Martin Space is seeking an Early Career Cyber Security Engineer Intern for the a DoD Program located in the greater Denver area, Colorado\. In this role, you will: • Evaluate systems and designs to determine cybersecurity characteristics\. • Conduct system configuration hardening \(e\.g\. DISA STIGs\) • Identify and conduct cybersecurity testing and risk analysis at the system and component level\. • Communicate assessment results\. The successful candidate will have experience and/or knowledge of: • General understanding of system and component functionality\. • Familiar with cybersecurity requirements\. • Experience in testing environment\. Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance\. This position is located at a facility that requires special access\. **Basic Qualifications:** • Enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program from an accredited college in Cybersecurity or a related discipline\. • Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance **Desired Skills:** • Windows or Linux \(e\.g\. Red Hat, Ubuntu\) • Scripting \(e\.g\. Python, shell/bash, PowerShell\) • Risk Management • DoD 8140\.01/8570\.01\-M IAT I or IAT II certification \(e\.g\. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed\.
