**Job Description :**
**Role Summary**
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Cyber Security GRC Intern to join our team. In this role, you will gain hands-on experience with governance frameworks, risk management, and compliance strategies while supporting our efforts to enhance our cybersecurity posture.
**Responsibilities**
+ Assist in the development, review, and update of cybersecurity policies, procedures, and standards.
+ Support risk assessment activities by identifying, analyzing, and documenting potential cybersecurity risks.
+ Help conduct internal audits and compliance checks to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, ISO 27001, NIST).
+ Maintain and update the GRC documentation repository, ensuring accurate record-keeping.
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather information for compliance reporting.
+ Assist in monitoring and tracking remediation efforts for identified risks or audit findings.
+ Participate in vendor risk assessments and third-party due diligence reviews.
+ Research and stay informed on emerging cybersecurity regulations and industry best practices.
**Qualifications**
**Required:**
+ Currently pursuing a degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
+ Basic understanding of cybersecurity principles and concepts.
+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
+ Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
+ Attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Pay Range: $17 -$20 an hour
