Specific Responsibilities As a Cybersecurity Intern, you will be an integral part of our cybersecurity team, supporting various initiatives to enhance our security posture. This internship program is designed to provide you with a comprehensive understanding of cybersecurity fundamentals, practical experience, and exposure to various technologies. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: + **Monitoring and Analysis:** Assist in monitoring security alerts, logs, and managing incidents. Analyse telemetry to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities. + **Vulnerability Management:** Collaborate in vulnerability assessment and remediation efforts. Work with stakeholders to prioritise and mitigate vulnerabilities. + **Security Processes:** Contribute to our security processes, identifying potential improvements and work with wider functions to improve the overall posture of the business. + **Security Tools:** Gain hands-on experience with various defensive security tools and technologies used in the industry. + **Incident Response:** Participate in incident response activities, including data collection, analysis, and documentation. + **Research and Development:** Assist with special projects that will improve the security of the wider business. Typical Education and/or Experience Requirements + Actively pursuing an undergraduate degree in a cyber-security related field. + Strong interest in cybersecurity and a desire to build a career in the field. + An understanding of security fundamentals. + An understanding of core enterprise technologies such as Active directory, Linux etc. + Understanding of adversarial attack patterns, vulnerabilities and TTPs. + Effective communication and teamwork abilities. + Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies. Desirable Experience: + Experience with Splunk Enterprise. + Experience with automation/scripting. + Hands on experience with security challenges, capture the flag’s etc. **Relocation:** This position does not offer relocation.
