As the Cyber Security Manager at ChildServe, you'll be the driving force behind our network and security infrastructure. You'll lead the charge in preventing and responding to critical security incidents, ensuring our systems stay resilient and secure. What You'll DoNetwork Management: Monitor and maintain network devices including, but not limited to, servers, computer endpoints, firewalls, switches, and wireless access points.Security Compliance: Oversee the organization’s cyber security compliance. This includes but is not limited to leading an internal Cyber Security Task Force, developing and deploying the NIST Cyber Security Framework, and ensuring compliance with HIPAA and NIST regulations. Monitor for security violations and inefficiencies by conducting periodic assessments. Work with the IT Leadership team to develop a technology plan that identifies measurable goals for addressing audit concerns and provide written quarterly updates based on NIST Standards. Develop and implement compliance tasks for supervised staff.Security Awareness Training: Design and oversee the facilitation of a formal training program on security awareness for all ChildServe staff. These include NIST, HIPAA, current threats, and best practices.Security Response: Direct activities to respond to critical networking and security issues and coordinate with IT Leadership as needed. Develop the policies, procedures, and tools needed to protect the company against unauthorized access to, modification of, or destruction of information systems and data. Provide guidance and assistance to the Network Security and Help Desk teams on any tickets that are determined to be related to security systems or are possible threats.Threat Analysis: Perform Threat Analysis, Risk, and Vulnerability assessments. Develop remediation and mitigation strategies based on vendor recommendations and industry best practices. Manage and monitor log files for network anomalies.Patch Management: Ensure network devices and computers are updated to industry best practices. Develop and implement a change management process.Disaster Recovery: Review, monitor, and improve the Disaster Recovery/Business Continuity systems. Develop policies and standards for disaster preparedness, emergency response, and recovery objectives related to cyber security incidents.Leadership: Supervise the team through effective hiring, training, coaching, and performance management. Ensure the development of staff to achieve high results and delegate work appropriately. Promote engagement and satisfaction to drive retention. Collaborate with the management team to identify opportunities for improvement.What You'll NeedBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Management of Information Systems, or similar field. Experience may be substituted for formal education. 8 years of information security and network administration experience. Leadership experience preferred.Professional Cybersecurity certification (SSCP, CISSP, HCISSP, or other recognized security certifications) required or willing to attain within one year of employment. Cisco Networking certification (CCNA, CCENT, or other recognized security certifications) preferred.Ability to understand and communicate effectively and professionally in reading, writing, and speaking the English language.
