Our Cybersecurity Technical Solutions is seeking a SharePoint and Software Developer for Security Tools. This position will be onsite in any of the following locations:  Tucson, AZ, Huntsville, AL, Woburn, MA, El Segundo, CA, or McKinney, TX, with very Infrequent travel to Raytheon locations. You will report to the Raytheon GSS Cybersecurity Technical Solutions Cybersecurity Architect Team Leads. 

Job Summary:

The Cybersecurity software development position is an individual contributor working with a team of developers maturing solutions within the Raytheon portfolio. This individual will partner with Raytheon Global Security Service (GSS) counterparts across Raytheon working closely with Digital Technology partners to ensure alignment to facilitate requirements and automate, where possible.

This position will be part of an agile team working to develop applications in alignment with Raytheon leadership to create new capabilities on existing software applications as well as create new applications. This position will require experience with database management, data models, as well as several programming languages. Successful candidate must be innovative and team oriented; must possess mature judgment and highly effective coding skills. You will regularly align with tasking within a DevOps framework. 

What you will do:

As a SharePoint Developer, you will design, develop, and maintain solutions in Microsoft SharePoint and Microsoft Visual Studio. Your primary responsibilities include customizing and extending SharePoint to support business needs, building workflows, forms, and dashboards, and integrating SharePoint with other applications. As an MVC Software Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining web applications using the Model-View-Controller (MVC) architectural pattern. Additionally, you will develop, test, and deploy software using programming languages and frameworks relevant to the organization’s technology stack.

You’ll collaborate closely with stakeholders to understand requirements, ensure solutions meet business goals, and provide technical support to resolve issues. Strong expertise in SharePoint Online, Power Automate, and Microsoft 365 tools, along with proficiency in C#, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and SQL, is essential. A background in Agile development and experience with version control systems will be beneficial.

Develop robust and scalable software running on a variety of computing platforms using Agile development methods.Actively participate in code reviews and configuration management and release.Design, customize, and maintain SharePoint sites, workflows, and listsDevelop and deploy custom applications and integrations within SharePoint and other platformsDebug and resolve issues in existing SharePoint and software applicationsDocument development processes, configurations, and solutionsCollaborate in a team environment with the product and design teams to understand end-user requirements, formulate use cases, and translate these into a pragmatic and effective technical solution.Provides strategic leadership direction with ability to shape and drive technological innovation in supported areas.

Qualifications You Must Have:

Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of five (5) years of prior relevant software development experience or an advanced STEM degree with three (3) years’ development experienceFive (5) years of experience in software engineering using any combination of these coding languages: React, HTML, C#, C++, Java (including JavaScript)Three (3) years of experience in SharePoint onlineExperience with assessing and authorizing information systemsExperience with DevSecOps tooling (e.g. MS Azure and JIRA)The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

The salary range for this role is 77,000 USD - 163,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
