Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for a Cyber Systems Engineer (Level 2) OR Principal Cyber Systems Engineer (Level 3) to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals within our Test and Evaluation organization. This role is located in Edwards AFB, CA.
In this role you will be responsible for maintaining smooth operation of multi-user computer systems, including coordination with network administrators, interacting with users and evaluating system performance. The successful candidate will develop and monitor policies and standards for allocation related to the use of computing resources. Ancillary duties may include setting up administrator and service accounts, maintaining system documentation, tuning system performance, installing system wide software and allocating mass storage space.
Key Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
Maintain availability and security compliance of Information Systems in a complex simulation environment.Ensure systems adhere to program configuration and data management plansEnsure adherence to Cyber Operations Policy and Procedures Establish strict program control processes to ensure mitigation of risks and support certification and accreditation of systemsPeriodically conduct a complete review of system audits and monitor corrective actionsProvide operations support at varying shift times.Basic Qualifications:

Cyber Systems Engineer (Level 2)
Must have a Bachelor’s Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math) discipline and 2 years of related professional/military experience; OR a Master’s Degree in a STEM discipline and 0 years of related professional/military experience.Must have an active DoD Secret or higher clearance (with a background investigation completed within the last 6 years or currently enrolled into Continuous Evaluation).Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) clearance, prior to the commencement of employment.Demonstrated systems Administration experience, to include Windows or Linux or VM (Virtual) environmentsMust possess a current DoD 8570 Level 2 Certification (i.e. Security+ CE or equivalent)Principal Cyber Systems Engineer (Level 3)

Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results.
