Maximus TCS (Technology and Consulting Services) Internal Job Profile Code: TCS225, P3, Band 6 Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Work with cybersecurity experts in the public and private sectors to draft technical documents and communicative deliverables. • Write, and coordinate strategic/operational/Best practice-based advisories in support of mission-critical operations. • Briefing higher-level subject matter experts on production, collaboration, and daily operations. • Research and develop highly technical products and internal collaboration with subject matter experts. • Expert in applications such as Word, PDF, Excel, and Microsoft Project. • Support the development of targeted and strategic communications collateral (e.g., Annual Reports, monthly operational newsletters). • Actively responsible for responding to cyber threats and creating mitigation reports in a fast-paced environment. • Experience writing cybersecurity documents and publications • Provide authoring for SOPs, reports, slick sheets, presentations, social media messaging, and other materials as requested. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Exceptional attention to detail and an eye for formatting inconsistencies.
Team Leadership: • Provide mentorship, guidance, and support to a team of technical writers. • Assign tasks and projects based on team members' strengths and workload capacity. • Conduct regular product output evaluations and provide constructive feedback to Tech Writer staff. • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
Program Support: • Provide program leadership support related to: Tech writer junior staff oversight & perform engagement program leadership to improve product impact.
Minimum Requirements: • 5+ years of experience in technical writing. • Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or related field. • Must be able to commute to the Arlington, VA on-site location. • An active TS/SCI Clearance
