Cyber Workforce Analyst

GovCIO is currently hiring for a Cyber Worforce Analyst to focus on analyzing and improving the cybersecurity workforce. This position will be located in Columbia, MD and will be an on-site position.

Responsibilities

Assessing current skills, identifying gaps, and developing strategies to enhance the workforce's capabilities. Develop and implement strategies to address workforce needs, including recruitment, training, and retention programs. Managing budgets and allocating resources for workforce development and training initiatives. Stay informed about industry trends and emerging threats to guide workforce development and ensure the organization is prepared for future challenges. 

Identifying training needs, developing training programs, and managing resources for cybersecurity workforce development.Ensuring compliance with cybersecurity regulations and standards related to workforce management. Facilitating communication and collaboration across departments to improve the overall cybersecurity posture. Tracking the effectiveness of training programs and workforce initiatives, and implementing performance metrics to assess team efficiency.  Qualifications

High School with 6 - 9 years (or commensurate experience)

Required Skills and Experience

Clearance Required:Secret3+ years of experience analyzing cybersecurity workforce data to identify trends, gaps, and inform training strategies.Skilled in data analysis, workforce development, research, and communication.IAM Level II or higher

Posted Pay Range

The posted pay range, if referenced, reflects the range expected for this position at the commencement of employment, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, education, experience, and internal equity. The total compensation package for this position may also include other compensation elements, to be discussed during the hiring process. If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the GovCIO reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, GovCIO or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
