Job Description

POSITION TITLE:

SUMMARY:  This is a temporary summer internship in Madison, Wisconsin, to support the CyberKnife® commercial product strategy efforts and product development team. Treating its first patient over 30 years ago, CyberKnife® has now delivered hundreds of thousands of patients, treating both malignant and benign conditions throughout the entire body. With its revolutionary robotic design and one of the most complex technologies that exist today, CyberKnife’s real-time tumor tracking, sub-millimeter accuracy, and ability to deliver non-invasive radiation, patients can be treated in significantly fewer sessions than our competitors. This highly unique internship allows any interested individual to work on a world-class medical device in a fast-paced environment that makes a meaningful change in a patient's quality of life and a meaningful impact on healthcare on a global scale.

REPORTING TO/DEPARTMENT: 

Reports to David Karasek in the Product Management department.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assist in the development of a CyberKnife® commercial campaign to engage more competitively in the radiosurgery spaceConduct market and competitive intelligence and generate supporting documents to drive strategic decisions and insights to be internally presented to multiple stakeholdersGenerate business metrics and opportunities analysis for market adoption and landscape assessmentsCreate and refresh marketing collateral (customer-facing) and internal training to support sales teams with an immediate business need in the Americas and APAC regions.Collaborate with cross-functional departments to collect metrics (finance, reimbursement, R&D, and others)Participate in requirements-gathering sessions to understand the information needs of different departments with a primary focus on the technical aspects of CyberKnife® with R&DSupport ad-hoc data analysis requests from different business units.After the internship, present lessons learned and a capstone document including solutions to real-world challenges identified during their tenure

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:Preferred or Desired:

Currently enrolled in a Master of Business Administration or similar academic program inclusive of marketing curriculum

Required:

Currently enrolled in a Bachelor of Science or Business secondary academic program inclusive of marketing curriculum
