RELYANT Global, LLC is currently seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Advisor for a large contract primarily concerned with Global Advisory. RESPONSIBILITIES: The Cybersecurity Advisor will serve at the task order level upon award. The Cybersecurity Advisor will be responsible for identifying potential threats, creating response plans, implementing security measures and maintaining security infrastructures. ***Position available upon award.*** DUTIES: + Analyzing the organization's cybersecurity posture and identifying areas for improvement + Developing and implementing security policies, protocols and procedures + Conducting regular system audits to ensure the implementation of security measures + Identifying potential vulnerabilities and implementing measures to prevent exploitation + Providing guidance and advice on the latest cybersecurity threats and the best preventive measures + Managing the response to information security incidents and providing post-event analyses + Creating and delivering training programs for staff to enhance their understanding of cybersecurity issues + Maintaining current knowledge of legislation relating to cybersecurity and making recommendations for necessary changes + Working with IT staff to ensure the secure installation and protection of both hardware and software + Participating in the change management process to ensure security is considered during the introduction of new systems EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE + Education: Bachelor's Degree with a concentration in computer science, cybersecurity, cyber operations, information management, information systems security, and/or other related fields. + Experience and Qualifications: + Ten years' experience (or eight years and a master's degree) in the U.S. military (O-5 or higher) and/or civilian equivalent (FS-02/GS-14 or industry equivalent) working in cybersecurity at the national level or large organizational level. + Experience working for the U.S. Department of Defense's Joint Chief of Staff (JCS) or other large enterprise-wide entity at the Department of Defense, Department of State, Department of Homeland Security, or other large U.S. government agency. + Experience as the director or program manager for one or more projects implementing cybersecurity capacity building initiatives. + Experience developing and communicating cybersecurity policies, strategies, organizational structures, technical concepts and procedures at the military service staff level, joint staff level or equivalent organizational level. + Experience working with senior foreign military officials and/or senior foreign government officials. + Demonstrated understanding of cybersecurity challenges in emerging markets and teaching/coaching/mentoring professionals on fragile states and transitioning topics. + Demonstrated proficiency in qualitative/quantitative research methods, problem solving, adherence to quality standards and program deliverables. + Demonstrated ability to successfully manage multiple contracts/task orders, coordinate activities in multiple locations and work well with customer/clients in a multi-cultural environment. + Possess one or more of the following certifications: + Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) + NIST Cyber Security Professional (NCSP) + Certified Information Systems Auditor (CASP) + Certified Chief Information Security Officer (CCISO) + Demonstrated fluency (spoken and written) in English language RELYANT Global offers a complete benefit package that includes : + Health and Welfare (Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance) + Health Savings Accounts + Retirement or 401K with matching contribution + Paid Time Off (Holiday, Vacation and Sick Time) + Short term disability + Long Term disability + Employee Assistance Programs + Tuition Reimbursement RELYANT is a Veteran Owned Business with our Global headquarters located in Maryville, TN.
