As a Compliance Cybersecurity Specialist, you will be responsible for managing key compliance processes and activities to ensure the continued protection of Dow’s enterprise IT environment. You will oversee compliance and governance activities over GRC processes, platform security, and other IT areas. You will ensure that the organization’s security activities, controls, processes, and practices adhere to the Dow’s security policies and standards. You will support both internal and external IT audits to verify that implemented IT controls protect corporate assets, ensure data integrity, and are aligned to Dow’s overall goals.
Responsibilities
Perform periodic testing of implemented security controls.Provide compliance and governance oversight for various IT security processes and activities including health checks.Support the automation of controls tasks.Work directly with the Compliance Operations teamActive involvement in IT assurance activitiesAssist with the maintenance of metrics reports and dashboard for Compliance & Governance activities.Provide compliance oversight over cybersecurity protection activities in the Manufacturing space.Document processes and participate in both internal and external IT audits.Partner with Information Security and technology teams as needed.Collaborate with third-party partners that provide security compliance services to Dow.Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field.A minimum of 5 years of relevant IT compliance and audit experience is required.At least 8 years of relevant industry experience is preferred.IT security experience especially in IT audit and compliance processes.Familiarity with security frameworks e.g., NIST CSF, ISO, SOX, PCI-DSS, etc.Prior experience with Security GRC tools e.g., ServiceNow.Preferred Skills
Excellent oral and written communication skills.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Team player, Attention to details, Able resolve complex problems situations and technical issues.Manage multiple initiatives.Ability to pick up new items and concepts quickly.CISSP / CISA certification a plus or interested in obtaining.Additional notes
