Let's Talk About Responsibilities:

As a Cybersecurity Engineering Intern, you will work alongside ResMed’s Security Architecture Team, contributing to cloud security, security pattern development, and architecture assessments. A key focus will be assessing GenAI and ML implementations in internally developed applications, ensuring they adhere to security best practices and compliance requirements.

The ideal candidate for our internship should have a foundational understanding of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within the cybersecurity and security architecture domain. They will be expected to apply this knowledge while relying on mentorship, structured guidance, and pre-established frameworks to perform their tasks effectively. This role offers a hands-on learning experience, encouraging collaboration, problem-solving, and professional development in a dynamic security environment.

This is preferred to be a hybrid role located at our ResMed headquarters in San Diego, CA. Candidates will be asked to be available to participate in remote team meetings. This position is also open to remote candidates.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skill/Experience):

Ability to work full-time for 12 weeks during Summer 2025; program dates are May 19, 2025 – August 8, 2025 OR June 16, 2025 – September 5, 2025Pursuing a degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, AI/ML or a related field.Basic understanding of cloud security, AI/ML security risks, risk management, and secure coding principles.

Pay Range:

Please note that the salary information shown below is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Individual pay decisions will be made by our staffing provider partner and are based on a variety of factors, such as the candidate’s geographic work location, relevant qualifications, work experience, and skills.

Base Pay Range for this position:

$22.50 - $41.50 per hour.
