Cybersecurity GRC Analyst

We are seeking a skilled and coachable Cybersecurity Governance, Risk Management, and Compliance (GRC) Analyst to support firm-wide cybersecurity GRC program functions. You will play a key role in contributing to cybersecurity policy lifecycle management, third-party risk management, security awareness, assurance and compliance initiatives, and more. The ideal candidate will be highly detail-oriented, a self-starter with an ability to work autonomously, and have working knowledge of, or a specific interest in learning, core cybersecurity concepts and activities.


Your role.

Your work will include, but not be limited to:

Conduct third-party risk assessments in support of the firm’s third-party risk management program.Develop and ensure delivery of cybersecurity awareness training and resources to the firm, including but not limited to annual training and monthly phishing exercises.Facilitate responses to client and prospective client cybersecurity and data privacy due diligence inquiries and requests for evidence.Develop and maintain familiarity with relevant industry control frameworks including NIST, ISO, CIS, etc.Support the development and maintenance of cybersecurity policies, standards, procedures, and guidelines in accordance with the firm’s business and cybersecurity objectives.Perform tasks related to implementation, monitoring, and evidence collection to demonstrate alignment with relevant industry control frameworks and firm policies. Stay abreast of the latest advancements in cybersecurity technologies, tools, and methodologies, continuously seeking ways to innovate and improve the cybersecurity program. Develop working relationships with internal firm services staff, practice staff, and external stakeholders.

The qualifications.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field required. 1-3 years of experience in developing and supporting cybersecurity functions, including third-party risk management, security awareness, and IT audits and assessments. Analytical and problem-solving skills with the drive to learn and expand technical cybersecurity skills.

·         Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously, delivering results within defined timelines.

Superior attention to detail and conscientious of the quality of work product. Professional demeanor with oral and written communication skills. Ability to present ideas and solutions in business and user-friendly language.
