Cybersecurity Project Manager

We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Cybersecurity Project Manager.

Cybersecurity Research and Offensive Security provides an independent challenge to HSBC’s cybersecurity posture by bringing the attacker’s mindset to find and exploit vulnerabilities and to simulate real-world attacks. By delivering a suite of Offensive Security services, CROS discover weaknesses across people, process, and technology, enabling the Firm to better understand its exposure to cybersecurity attacks and to drive a proactive approach to protect itself and to manage risk more effectively.

Role Purpose:

• Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and coordinate security testing / Penetration Testing requirement.

• Manage stakeholders to deliver security testing / Penetration Testing mandate.

• Ensure compliance with internal audit and external regulators that any organizational changes are fit for purpose and meet their expectations.

• Act as the key point of contact for selected penetration testing vendor and process the Statement of Work.

• Liaise with technical teams to ensure the availability of test environments.

• Communicating test results with the application team and cyber remediation utility team

• Track and report project progress and metrics.

• Maintain project document.

• Report into CROS Assurance lead and support day to day function requirement.

• Knowledge in cybersecurity domain and penetration testing.

• Managing relationships with IT and business partners and vendors.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Deliver to a schedule, prioritize conflicting tasks, and service occasional time-critical requests as required.

• Excellent English communication and interpersonal skills.

Main Activities:

• Support the penetration testing program globally across multiple business areas and regions/countries including vendor selection, scoping, planning, scheduling, conflict management, and stakeholder manager and reporting.

• Organize and facilitate project planning, status meetings, reviews, requirements and release planning, and other project related meetings.

• Create and deliver presentations to senior management on project goals and plans, progress reporting, updates, milestones, metrics, financials, risks and issues.

• Produce timely and high-quality work.

• Organize and structure solutions to solve complex problems.

• Maintain data quality in the system of record for tracking pen test activities and outcomes.

Typically educated to degree level, within IT security. Cybersecurity Industry level certifications is an advantage.Proven proficiency in both oral and written communication.Proficiency in developing and delivering PowerPoint presentations.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, JIRA, Confluence, Power BI, etc.PMI certification (PMP) Desirable.Knowledge in cybersecurity domain and penetration testing. Desirable. Due to the urgent hiring need, candidates with immediate right to work locally and no relocation need will be prioritised.
