Our team, the Command and Control, Battle Management and Communications (C2BMC) team at Lockheed Martin, is dedicated to engineering, developing, and integrating new capabilities for the Missile Defense System that protects the United States and its allies. While we are part of a large organization, we operate within smaller, agile teams in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Our responsibilities include Sensor/Weapon Integration, Algorithm Development, User Interface Development, Automated Testing, Cyber Security, and enhancing critical missile defense technologies.
The Work
In this vital role, you will be:
-Performing verification of cybersecurity requirements, Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs), and Security Reference Guides (SRGs)
-Ensuring cybersecurity configurations and baselines are established and maintained across the entire system development lifecycle
-Support creation of technical documentation such as Plans of Action and Milestones (POA&Ms) and Risk Acceptance Requests (RARs)
-Provide cyber support to the C2BMC program and customer meetings
-Working closely with System owners, Cyber peers, Program Office technical/management staff, and other C2BMC Functional Areas to ensure the fielded C2BMC system attains and maintains appropriate Authorization for Connection, Test, and Operational purposes
-Identifying process improvement opportunities and implementing solutions to enhance workflow efficiencies and system cybersecurity posture

This position requires a government security clearance; you must be a U.S. Citizen for consideration.
The role will involve approximately 10% travel to customer sites throughout the U.S.

Basic Qualifications:
- 5+ years professional related experience
- Active DoD Secret Security Clearance
- DoD 8570 certification IAT - Level II (e.g., Sec+ or Higher)
- Strong knowledge of information assurance technology and DoD information assurance certification requirements including hands-on experience in a broad range of information assurance operations related functions and technologies
- Must have a working knowledge of NIST SP 800-53, Security and Privacy Controls for Information Systems and Organizations, DoDI 8500.2, Common Criteria, National Information Assurance Partnership (NIAP) and Risk Management Framework (RMF) Security Controls
- Must be able to work independently and possess excellent interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to support complex organizational relationships
- Must be familiar with the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and its importance in designing, building and delivering high-quality software to the customer
- Must have working knowledge of ACAS (Tenable.sc / Tenable Nessus), Evaluate-STIG, Trivy, SCAP, or other cybersecurity scanning tools

These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Washington or Washington DC is $97,100 - $171,235. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
