Inventory Control Specialist Responsibilities:
•    Timely update of data within SAP to reflect correct inventory information, notifying appropriate teams •    Perform daily cycle counts in warehouse 

•    Maintain product identification and location accuracy 
•    Research inventory discrepancies
•    Report discrepancies to internal stakeholders and Perform Root Cause and Corrective Action analysis •    Collaborate with cycle counting team and warehouse to maintain inventory integrity

Education level:
•    High School or GED required

Relevant previous experience:

•    2 years minimum in either warehousing, material handling and / or manufacturing combined 

Knowledge areas/Skills:  •    Inventory control, cycle counting, Kanban and order picking preferred
•    MRP System experience required; SAP preferred •    Detail oriented mindset, able to keep track of large numbers of inventory items
•    Basic math skills
•    Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
•    Ability to set priorities, follow instructions and exercise independent judgment when appropriate
•    Good communication skills both written and verbal
•    Possess intermediate computer skills which includes thorough knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite and  Enterprise software systems
•    Ability to speak distinctly and see/hear clearly, with strong communication skills  
•    A self-starter who can set priorities, demonstrate initiative and the ability to get the job done 
•    Must be capable of following instructions and exercising good independent judgment when appropriate

Other requirements: •    Mid Level SAP or ERP expereince is preferred.
•    Ability to work overtime on occasion when requested, but is primarily on a volunteer basis. 

Physical requirements: •    This position is very active, and requires regular standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, and sitting for long amounts of time
•    Ability to lift 40 lbs without assistance and/or 50lbs with assistance.
