Responsibilities:
Perform pre-fill and post-fill inspections and tests on cylinders, removing those needing maintenance.
Maintain and inspect pumping equipment and monitoring devices regularly.
Fill cylinders to proper levels using specified pressure or weight measures.
Ensure accurate record-keeping of cylinder filling and compliance with regulations.
Apply tags, labels, and decals to cylinders; load them onto vehicles.
Deliver cylinders to Airgas locations using company trucks.
Handle palletized cylinder stock loading/unloading at branches.
Verify cylinder quantities, reporting discrepancies.
Adhere to company policies and DOT regulations.
Act as backup driver during driver absences
Backup Driver Responsibilities
Deliver compressed gas cylinders and liquid cylinders on a scheduled route to customers.
Load and unload trucks, retrieve empty cylinders, and return them for refilling.
Maintain accurate vehicle documentation and a professional appearance.
________________________Are you a MATCH?Qualifications and Competencies:
Minimum age: 21 years.
Must have a Class B or better Commercial Drivers' License HAZMAT endorsement preferred.
Successful completion of Airgas Background and Motor Vehicle Check.
One year of experience driving similar commercial vehicles within the last five years or completion of an accredited truck driving school program.
High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work with diverse individuals.
Ability to work in a drug-free environment.
