Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cylinder Maintenance (CMF) Technician responsible for tasks related to the re-qualification, painting, and repair of refillable cylinders. This role involves handling both company-owned and customer-owned cylinders, ensuring they meet all quality and safety standards.
ResponsibilitiesLoad and unload trucks or pallets with cylinders to test or with completed cylinders.Perform initial visual inspection on cylinders, identifying contents prior to removing labels.Shot blast cylinders and move them to the next work area.Re-qualify acetylene cylinders according to established procedures.Repair and re-valve cylinders as necessary following established procedures.Paint cylinders as necessary according to established procedures.Perform other tasks as assigned or necessary.Essential SkillsGeneral labor experience.Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.Experience with loading and unloading.Mechanical aptitude.Ability to work with hand tools and mechanical equipment.Additional Skills & QualificationsPrevious knowledge of cylinders and industrial gases is preferred.Warehouse forklift and production experience.Safety Toe Shoes required.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
The work schedule is Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 6 PM. Steel-toed shoes are a mandatory requirement for this position.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Boise, Idaho.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.50 - $17.50/hr.
