The incumbent will: + Prepares and microscopically examines slides of human cell samplings for the presence of disease or other abnormality + Receive, accession, and process GYN and Non-GYN specimens, blocks, and slides. + Assist FNA and biopsy procedures and perform quick adequacy assessment. + Monitor incoming phone inquiries and requests. + Handle and dispose of hazardous and non-hazardous materials by safety protocols. + Maintain and organize laboratory supplies. Monitor inventory levels and prepare simple reagents as needed. Shift - M-F 8:00 am - 4:30 pm Hourly range: The hourly rate range for this position is $55.57 - $64.56.
