TITLE: Cytotechnologist / Cytotech / 32hrs with full benefits

What they’re looking for:
•Completion of an accredited CT program, CT (ASCP).
•Experience required with GYN/non-GYN screenings & fine needle procedures. Experience with Cytology specimen processing a plus.
Hours and compensation potential:
•The position is 32hrs, days shift, no weekends or holidays. Does include full time benefit package.
•The range is between $30.27 to $41.66/hr. depending on experience. Also offering a $12K sign-on.
•Full benefits package included and prefer someone commutable but will help with relocation. What you’ll be doing:
•Primary duty will be the microscopic evaluation of pap smears.
•Additional duties will include processing of Non GYN specimens, assisting on final needle aspirates, microscopic evaluation of Non GYN specimens, pap smear registration and accessioning, pap smear processing, pap smear staining, stainer maintenance.
•The processing, registration, and accessioning is typically done by support staff, but the Cytotechs cover for PTO, FMLA, call offs, or when it is needed based on volume.
•Equipment used includes Thin Prep processors, Thin Prep imager, Leica stainer, SoftPath.
•Cytotech will work with state-of-the-art instrumentation.

•Position will report to the Director whom is well respected within the organization. This is a high volume lab and some Cytotechs have struggled with pace(quality & accuracy).
