Job Title: C# Developer

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Windows Application Developer to work on the development of cutting-edge fire detection products. You will be involved in various aspects of application development, including the creation of interactive user interfaces, business logic, data management, and diagnostics tools. You will analyze, design, program, debug, and modify software for local, networked, cloud-based, or Internet-related applications for Fire Alarm Systems. This role requires performing complex software engineering assignments and contributing to the product vision.

ResponsibilitiesWork on the development of Windows applications related to the best-in-class fire detection products.Integrate multiple aspects of application development, including user interfaces, business logic, data management, and diagnostics tools.Analyze, design, program, debug, modify, test, and implement software for fire alarm systems.Perform complex software engineering assignments, often requiring the development of new or improved products, processes, or techniques.Advocate for the product vision and design, prototype, plan, and develop high-quality applications.Provide continuous feedback to address customer needs and optimize user experience.Actively participate in software planning and estimation activities.Support and mentor teammates and other functional groups.Continuously strive to improve your skill set.Essential SkillsProficiency in C#, .NET, WinUI, WPF, and desktop application development.Experience in developing complex commercial desktop applications.Expertise in leading the design and implementation of significant portions of large projects using C#, .NET, WPF, SQL, Entity Framework, and LINQ.Proficient in using different design patterns and object-oriented programming.Experience with Agile methodology, CI/CD pipelines, and versioning tools.Fluent in French and English.Additional Skills & QualificationsUniversity degree in computer/software engineering or computer sciences.5+ years of experience in desktop application development.Knowledge of C++ is an asset.Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and analytical skills.Interest in the latest frameworks like WinUI 3 and .NET 7-8.Strong team player with well-developed interpersonal skills, results-oriented, and self-motivated.Work Environment

The role requires working three days per week at our facility in Brossard, a new building that is easily accessible to Dix-30 and the REM. You will be part of a passionate and Agile team that values collaboration and communication. The work environment offers flexible hours, a good family/work balance, and numerous social activities. We provide a hybrid work model with options for in-office and at-home work, ensuring flexibility for today’s modern hi-tech environment. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $65.00
