D&E – Mechanical Engineer (Support Supplier development) - Linkou (Evergreen)

Introduction to the job

We are looking for (design) engineers who are able to translate technical needs for the DUV modules into requirements that can be transferred to local suppliers in Asia. Specifically, we are looking for experienced design engineers with mechanical competence who can deliver Technical Product Documentation.

Both the manufacturing facility and the transfer of suppliers to Asia contribute to our vision to build a more scalable, competitive and closer-to-the customer manufacturing capability in Taiwan which is able to send qualified modules directly to our customers.

You will work in a team with design- and supplier quality engineers lead by a Group lead. This team is part of the D&E Field organization with an overarching mission to increase intimacy with our customer and ASML operations (Customer Support, Repair & Re-use, Manufacturing and Strategic Sourcing and Procurement)

This position is open to local hires as well as Long Term assignees within ASML.

You will spend ~ six months in the Netherlands or Wilton, USA for training purposes in 2026.

Roles and responsibilities

To translate technical needs for the DUV modules into requirements that can be transferred to local suppliers in Asia, we need design engineers with different fields of specialty who will:

Clarify, update, and complete available Technical Product documentation (TPD) to accomplish TPD acceptance by supplier (TAS) ;Update TPD (in-red and/or discrepancies) via Engineering Change and qualify the new supplier part quality with production engineer;Provide technical support for all Asia supplier sourcing activities.Collaborate with development teams with in Veldhoven, Netherlands and Wilton, USA

Education and experience

You are an engineer with at least a Bachelor or Higher education degree in the field of:

Mechanical Engineering

In addition you have ≥ 3 years of experience that is relatable to ASML. Experience with supplier collaboration is a plus.

You are a design engineer with a technical background in Mechanical Engineering.Preferably, you have Team center and/or NX knowledgeBeing a generalist in your field of expertise, willing to dive into unknown problems and ability to operate in a multi-disciplinary team;A pioneering mindset, self-propelling, a pragmatic approach, and showing initiative;Enthusiastic and ambitious professional with ability to communicate clear and concise to peers and (potential) suppliers.Quick learner, in for a challenge, continuously drive for improvements, and enjoy achieving results together with your team.Fluency in English & Mandarin is preferred.

This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the United States Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. § 730, et seq.). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work. Business demands may require ASML to proceed with candidates who are immediately eligible to access controlled technology.
